An official meeting of delegations from the Ukrainian Football Association and the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association took place in Krakow.

On the day of the 2026 World Cup qualifier match between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in Krakow, Poland, a working meeting took place between delegations of the Ukrainian Association of Football and the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association.

The day of the match between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in Krakow, Poland for the 2026 World Cup qualifier saw a working meeting between delegations from the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) and the Football Federations Association of Azerbaijan.

The UAF delegation was represented by President Andriy Shevchenko, First Vice-President Artem Stoyanov, Vice-President Oleksandr Shevchenko, and General Secretary Igor Gryshchenko.

The Azerbaijani delegation, which expressed support for the Ukrainians in their fight against the aggressor, was represented by Vice-President Sarhan Gadjiev, General Secretary Jahangir Farajullayev, Deputy General Secretary Kamran Velieyev, and Advisor to the Vice-President Orkhan Ahmedov.
