The head coach of the Ukrainian women's national team, Volodymyr Pyatenko, announced the names of 24 football players called up to participate in friendly matches against Slovakia and Romania.

Goalkeepers: Kateryna Samson («Vorskla» Poltava), Daria Kelyushyk («Kolos» Kovalevka), Kateryna Boklach («Nantes», France).

Defenders: Solomiya Kopiak («Kolos» Kovalevka), Kateryna Korsun, Alina Savka, Iryna Kotyash, Marina Shaynyuk (all — «Vorskla» Poltava), Yana Kotyk, Olha Basanska (both — «Metalist 1925» Kharkiv), Lyubov Shmatko («Fomget», Turkey).

Midfielders: Dayana Semkiv, Svitlana Kogut (both — «Kolos» Kovalevka), Natia Pantulaya («Sisters» Odessa), Anna Petrik, Viktoriya Hryin, Lidiya Zaborovets (all — «Metalist 1925» Kharkiv), Viktoriya Radionova («Vorskla» Poltava), Nicole Kozlova («Glasgow City», Scotland), Yana Malakhova («Mur», Slovenia).

It is worth noting that two players are called up to the national team for the first time — Svitlana Kogut and Alina Savka.

The match between the teams of Slovakia and Ukraine will take place on October 25 in Senec at the eponymous stadium (kickoff at 6:00 PM Kyiv time). The match between the teams of Romania and Ukraine will be held on October 28 in Bucharest at the «Concordia K'iyzna» Stadium (kickoff at 5:30 PM Kyiv time).
