The Ukraine national team has begun preparations for two World Cup 2026 qualifiers — against Iceland (October 10, Reykjavik) and Azerbaijan (October 13, Krakow).

Players from the Ukrainian championship traveled to the national team camp by train to Warsaw, and then by bus. Foreign-based players joined their teammates directly in Poland.

The team will train at this location until October 8, when they will travel to Reykjavik. On the 9th, there will be a traditional pre-match press conference with Sergiy Rebrov and one of his players (start time — 8:30 PM Kyiv time) and training (10:00 PM Kyiv time) at the Iceland vs Ukraine stadium, "Leygardalsvollur." The return to Poland is scheduled for October 11.

On October 12 in Krakow, traditional pre-match events for the Ukraine vs Azerbaijan match will take place. At 3:30 PM local time, a press conference with Sergiy Rebrov and one of his players will begin, followed by training at 4:00 PM.

Communication with representatives of Azerbaijani media and training sessions for our opponents will start at 7:30 PM local time.
