We remind you that yesterday Ukraine's futsal team in Jonava won Lithuania in a friendly match (7:0). The coach of the blue and yellow team, Oleksandr Kosenko, commented on this meeting, reports AFF.

— The team won — 7:0. It seemed that the approach was so professional that it couldn't be more professional.

— I think the guys were ready for the game in the national team. There was a break, the first game after vacation, they all met together... It's clear that someone somewhere crossed paths, but to meet as one — it was the first time in several months.

It could be seen that they worked with enthusiasm on training sessions and missed international futsal. Therefore, it was indeed very professional. The attitude and approach to the opponent were also impressive. A good start.

— You asked them to start aggressively — they started aggressively. They worked hard with a fifth field player — in fact, they didn't allow anything.

— That's why we train so that the guys enjoy playing on the court, so that it works out for them, not just when they have the ball. You can create even with the opponent's ball — if everything is working out and you're scoring.

— Together with Igor Chernyavskyi, you named Vlad Pervezhev as the best player of the match. How difficult was it to make this decision, and who else was among the candidates?

— The whole team was among the candidates, the guys were indeed excellent. Each deserved an award, but we had to choose one person. Vlad scored the first three goals, so we highlighted him, but in fact, everyone deserved it.

— Two debutants played in the second half. Both had moments, David made a great pass. What do you think about their debut?

— In my opinion, their debut went pretty well. Of course, there were mistakes and nervousness during their first substitutions. But then it was clear that the nerves passed, they started creating opportunities, passing, reading the game in defense. I think it's not bad, but there is still a lot of potential for growth.

— The opponent surprised with how rough and unsportsmanlike they played at times. Did you talk to colleagues about whether this was too much?

— I think in many teams there are, let's say, "dirty" players who don't hold back when conceding a lot and start allowing themselves things that are unacceptable for professionals.

We prepare ourselves for provocations in every game. We try to respond with goals, but sometimes someone can't control themselves.

— When the fans thanked for the victory, it seemed like we were playing at home.

— Indeed, I want to thank our supporters again. No matter where we play, we feel their support. People come to every game and it's nice that they thank us. We are grateful to them for coming and supporting — this is very important. We play first of all for them, for the soldiers, for our people...

We remind you that the second friendly match against Lithuania will be played by Ukraine's futsal team today, September 24th. The start of the meeting — at 7:00 PM Kyiv time.
