The UEFA executive committee has determined the hosts for the 2027 European Championship finals in women's and youth futsal.

So, the Euro-2027 women’s futsal championship will take place from March 14 to 21 in Osijek, Croatia. The draw for both the main round and elite round qualifiers is scheduled for December 12. The qualifying matches themselves will be held in 2026. For the first time in history, eight teams will participate in the final tournament.

As a reminder, all three women's European futsal championships that were previously held with four participating national teams — in 2019, 2022 (rescheduled from 2021), and 2023 — were won by Spain. The Ukrainian team occupied fourth, third, and second places respectively.

The Euro-2027 futsal championship for U-19 youth teams will take place from September 26 to October 3 in Astana, Kazakhstan. Seven of the best qualifying teams will join the hosts in the final tournament, which is scheduled at the beginning of that same year.

As a reminder, in just a few days, Ukraine's youth futsal team will participate in the Euro-2025 final tournament taking place in Chisinau, Moldova. Among the opponents will be the hosts' teams, Portugal, and Italy.

The inaugural European futsal championship for boys took place in 2019 in Rijeka, the second edition was held in Hain (originally planned for 2021 but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and the third — in 2023 in Poreč. The champions were teams from Spain (2019, 2022) and Portugal (2023).

The Ukrainian team participated in all three final tournaments. In 2019, Vitaliy Odegov's wards secured third place in the group stage, and in 2022 they reached the semifinals. In 2023, Igor Moskvin's team also made it to the semifinal stage.
